Mexico 2016

Curses to you Chicago winter, we goin' to Mehicho! Puerto Vallarta to be precise. Our annual multi-family fun trip was much anticipated. This year our all inclusive resort of collective choice was Garza Blanca. It was first on our list because we enjoy the charming downtown of Puerto Vallarta, the vigorous ocean on the western side of the country and being on the water with great food. This place really delivered! Thomas...check! Peppa Pig....check! Perplexus ball....check! We are cleared for liftoff! Our welcome view from the lobby. Hallelujah! View from room.  Curses curses curses. So the beach was rocky. And the vigorous waves we said we loved? Well, they were too vigorous. The beach area was closed for swimming because of rough tide and rocks rolling on shore with each pass of wave. I was a bit broken hearted as sand and waves are primary in my vacation fantasy. Big Man Pants!!

I think I can safely say we have a potty master on our hands!! That's right! The young Cerney boy has retired his diapers for underwear (except a sleepy-dipe, of course). Some nudity depicted below. The cutest and tamest of nudity mind you. A weekend event, Saturday started out pretty well. We tried underwear in the beginning and it was met with immediate liquid release. So he kicked it Donald Duck style for a few days. Day one started out strong with a poop by the middle of the morning!   The catalyst I presume was the promise of making special potty cupcakes upon the deliverance of the first poo. Brock is a man who responds to bribery in the form of junk food. His Achilles heel! Ha Ha! Here was (is) the formula: 1 jelly bean for a solid, un-manipulative try in the potty, and 2 jelly beans for a legitimate pee and a cupcake for the big #2.  Batter me up some sweet success!
