Apples Pumpkins and 6 Awesome years!

Same place different year! We have a fall routine now come our seasonal anniversary sojourn to Berrien county Michigan. After checking in to Goldberry Woods B&B on Friday, we head out the following morning to Treemendous Fruits for apples.

This year our weather was perfect. 70 and sunny. How you like them apples?

I decided we would each pose next to our favorite apple. Here is Brock in front of ....MELROSE??!! What the heck!! That's not Brock's favorite! He likes Mutsu, of the green varity. I think I just remember picture and "M" and assumed I took the pic in front of a Mutsu.

and Matt in front of his favorite apple, the Double-red Johnathon.

and here I am in front of Hoople's Antique Gold. THE best.

Growth happened. A-LOT. oh my, tangent, I just had to clear out all of Brock's shoes and "too-big" winter shoes that I had foolishly been saving. Apparently, Brock is now a 10-10.5. Such a shock. Thank goodness for Amazon Prime and shoes with bananas on them.

HEY there. har har, the only reason this photo made the cut.

Then it's off to Warren Beach to watch the sunset over lake Michigan on a gloriously clear night.

 Preluded by an African Safari.

Dunes make for some deep digs. Notice Matt has no arm.

This hole. has. no. bottom. none.

We hide buried treasure (a fine fine Lincoln penny) and add a secret marker.

no one. will. ever. know.

Up in the morning and off to Dinges pumpkin patch.

Let me show you to THE DOOR, mom.

Cut me some skin dude! He actually did.

Corn maze final clue PUNCHED! That's right, we saved "2" till the end, best for last yo!

Can we do it? Yes we CORN! oh my. no need for caps I'm sure.

This year we added concord grape picking to our schedule. This brought back fond memories of delighting in juicy bites from our wedding day.

And here we are 6 years later! Much improved I'd say with the little guy upgrade.

A final pump(kin) jump. This enclosed bouncer had a rather unsettling boy in the bubble feel to it.

All in all, Fall's a ball! Love you Matt. Love you Brock.
