Brock's Pre-School Graduation
Oh my goodness where did the time go? So even though Brock still has summer at his beloved preschool, Montessori Gifted Prep, it was time to celebrate the end of an era.
gush.
His class of 6, there are several other kids in his class, but these are the ones with birthdays before September 1st, the strict cut off for kindergarten in Chicago Public Schools.
Here he is with his big entrance! No cute-sies for this one, this was a man with purpose.
He was so serious for the presentation. I know that it meant a lot to him, he had been practicing his songs non-stop and talking about the show and how there was a surprise.
Oh my goodness so the surprise were staged conversations in Spanish. Brock was perfect, of course, with his represented phrase, con mucho gusto.
Here he is in his dialog with Santiago.
Then the kids sang some songs for us before the rest of the group came out.
It's official
..ly blurry! But I thank mom for taking a pic of the moment, and is still worth posting in all of its fuzzy majesty.
So here is the whole graduation. The graduates are all at the beginning. As you can see, I didn't get the clearest shot.
Brock with MGP director, JC Mountainbear (yes, that is his name).
And no good deed goes un-donuted
The pride!
Now that he is graduated, time for physical labor.

A fine shot of us at the party afterwards. We are all there on the right side with Mom starting us off. I am looking a confused expression of pride and constipation. Anyhow, it was a special day and it gave me a glimpse into the mush and magic of ceremonies and milestones to come. Thanks Brock for being such an amazing kid and making us the proudest parents around.
