A Cerney Periodical

Brock Orwell Cerney, 6lbs & 5oz, 18" born at 1:48 pm August 2nd, 2013! As the story goes, Brock arrived VERY quickly!  By time I knew I was in labor, around 10:30 am, I got to 9 cm dilated sometime around 1:15pm!  Stubborn little critter was still turned around, and with things happening so fast, I got the gas and woke up to the most perfect baby boy!! The gentlemen! First grand child for Sharon! Proud new grand-dad it seems Brock has inherited me or Matt's very recessive Chinese man gene... Coming home! Chillin' at home! Does he look like us???  

My wonderful extended family threw me and att a co-ed shower that was a real joy. Thanks to cousin Tammy for taking such great pics!!  Yes, I am sporting the same ensemble as my last shower, so it may be confusing... please forgive, frock options are running out... Tanya trie to identify the "poo" (an actual Hershey-squirt, special dark I believe)  We arrive.... last!   A warm welcome Aunt Sara-lu and Barb, two of our lovely hosts... Cousin Kevin and Dad know how kick a baby shower up a notch... wine in a box! 2nd Cousin Belle  Proud parents to be! I wanted to document Matt garnishing a Cub's stein... what a polite guest he is... Game-master cousin Carol stealthily records our conversation for use later in the day... Thanks Mom and Dad!!   her deviousness is revealed when our recorded conversation contributes to "words said during the act of baby's conception"... delightfully tasteless! ...

June 23rd was such a darling day as my dear lady friends gathered round to celebrate the awaited appearance of Cerney Hawkling... My lovely hostesses... Rachel, Leah and Sarah Here we guess gender and name... looks like Max and Gunner are favorites... boy is leading the betting the food was ADORABLE and DELECTABLE Guest gifts... precious terrariums! Gals write personalize A-Z book for Hawk B is for....  Perfect gift for library mom... and who doesn't love the most peaceful of bulls? some of the Aunties gather round let the lullabies begin!
