A Cerney Periodical

Hello. Alice here. My dad planted some cherry tomatoes in our backyard this summer, and my goodness they are... FEED ME TOMATOES!!!...sorry, where was I... they are delicious. I usually eat every single... PUT IT IN MOMMY!! COME ON!!... tomato right as it ripens. In fact, no tomatoes have ever even made it u....  mrmrmfmgm....mmmmm.. .um.  upstairs. they never make it upstairs. Yes, mommy. You deal with the exploding juices. That is your job. My job is to eat them all. I EAT THEM ALL!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!  Now fetch me more. 

Al pal has been working hard at learning to walk by pushing wheeled things. Here is a recent attempt that went a bit awry.  soon. so soon.

Alice loves to kiss her toys and make her toys kiss each other. She's also pretty forceful when she's decided you should be kissing one of her toys. It's pretty cute. Here's a video of her trying to get though a pop-up book, but getting continually distracted by new things to kiss.

Maybe Alice has said "cat"? You be the judge. I think so? Other things Alice maybe said : "duck", maybe "mama", "dada" maybe. She makes cute noises that seem to have meaning.

Rain or shine, this boy is off to first grade in a blaze of glory. He those to wear his homemade tye dyed flame shirt, with flame shoes. First day of school parents get to walk first graders to the classroom. Ms. Manon, his new teacher is FABULOUS. Here he is in his group, with his breakfast that all CPS students get. Which he loves because there is always a sweety sort of carb in there. Alice yelled at all the right moments. Any how, I did not get emotional because I think I took care of all that in preschool and kindergarten. I am quite confident that this amazing young gentleman shall "slay" as the kids say these days.

Oh, hello again. I got great news. Today I found out that my grandma and grandpa doughnut aren't actually named "Doughnut". It turns out they just hand em out all the time. Alright, hold on. Lemme take another bite... ...mmmm. oh. so good and sweet. hold on, i need a bit more... what? you don't think i should be talking with my mouth full? HaHa! You're silly. Now bring me more doughnuts!!
