April Showers make Brock powers

It has been a busy time at the Casa de Cerney; Brock does not stop his amazing journey between posts!  wow.  So much has happened in a short 8 months!  He is now at 23 lbs, and has officially moved out of his basket car seat (he is much happier in his new one, maybe because of his maturation or because he has way  more room).  He eats about 14 ounces of solid food a day and has everything from pineapple to pot roast.  He sleeps 12+ hours, from 6:30-7pm to 7am.  He also is good about chilling out in his crib till 7:30 when Matt get's up (I'm up too, but you know, still in the blanket burrito).  Nap time is getting re-arranged, but we think he going to end up with two a day, one at 10:30ish and one at 2:30ish.  He is so close to crawling!  Brock's moves are seal-esque, he rolls, scoots and drags himself forward and back.  He sits well, but can't sit up by himself and enjoys the new freedom of sitting up in a shopping cart and playing ball-roll.  He has amazing leg strength (its not all gooy-goo!  Some muscle in there!) and if his balance was better I feel he could stand unassisted.  We really need to start baby-proofing as baby mobility is imminent.  His favorite food is banana and his toothbrush embodies this, although it looks nothing like the way we serve him banana (green and mushy with added spinach or kale).  We hope it will inspire him to brush, but regardless, he loves his rubber banana and do do his very sharp two lower teeth and incoming every other tooth.

He is also adorable in Matt's vintage turtleneck, not sure if it helps define his neck, or covers it completely.

Brock also loves his wooden stool.  More for toppling, bang bang, and chew potential.  As you can see, his camera suspicion has almost completely dissolved and he has come into the ham-hood that is most likely DNA pre-destined.

Big blues still shining!

Here is the tragic remains of snappy the onesie.  A charming and sassy pass down from Max, snappy was a bit unforgiving in its stretch.  Brock does not love dressing, and snappy was the worst offender, but was so cute that the sadist in me was ever inspired (this devil is also seen in regards to adorable but impossible to put on shoes).  With rehearsals in full swing, Matt was on bedtime duty, and upon listening to sad and trapped Brock for too long a spell, came to the rescue and set him free in a most daddy way.  Thus sending snappy to onesie heaven (a wonderful place with neatly folded neighbors and fabric softener flowing freely).
