Kids spring quarter in school

Some highlights from the last quarter of school!

There were many themed days. Brock only picks the ones that appeal to him to dress for, here he is on Ken Vs. Barbie day...as Allen. Not picking side obviously.

Alice on Zoo day...starfish!

Kings and Queens day...
Brock's school has a Festival of the Arts event, part of which where they are given a theme and every classroom decorates their room for an immersive experience. Brock worked so hard on his room, cutting out, "5000 leaves". He took his role as manager very seriously and went above and beyond.
Entering, "The Enchanted Forest".
On that theme, his class went with a four elements/ seasons lens. Here is "Winter", these ice sickles are now in Brock's room.
Winter town.
Full room with bestie Theodor and their beloved homeroom and literature teacher, Mr. White.
Fire/ autumn town.
This is Bartholomew. Brock, as manager, was dismayed there his underlings had made a horrible looking tree. I suggested that we role with it and make it an evil tree. 10 minutes later I am overstepping my mommy participation quota building this friend (who also lives in Brock's room now) and Brock and I craft his evil goblin named later by Brock's colleagues, as Bartholomew.  An improvement!
Brock made these adorable fire squirrels.

Theodor's best Botticelli impersonation.

Alice then had "Twins day"'. So, I was over-mommying again, and was afraid that Alice would not feel comfortable or not have anyone to be a twin with on this day. So I made Myrna a matching track suit just in case. Thank goodness, Chloe came through and I reached out to her mom. They actually own the same shirt so it was perfect. So, this picture is actually from Track Suit Day!

Next was "Sports Day".

Alice also had a project to pick out a book and read it to her class. For timing and jokes, she picked out "It's Not Easy Being a Bunny". Sing it sister. Here she is at a practice round at home:

And at the main event!

Looks like she had a great time.

Alice's school fundraiser for their sports program, the Color Marathon. They had cool colored powder to through on their shirts made popular from the Indian Color Celebration.

Alice's classmate Marley sharing her pink.
Brock came too!

Yay school. I will miss you over the next few months!
