3rd Aniversary Awesomeness

Well, here is to (seven total) three (married) wonderful years my dearest love!  Your generous soul and spirit continues to give every day, and most on the day you gave us our beautiful friend, the amazing Brock.  Here are some memories of our annual celebration of all things fruitful in Berrien County Michigan.  Our first stop was Treemendus Fruit, our UPick orchard of choice.

Apple species taste quite different.  Each year we learn of new varieties: this year Brock's choice was Roger's Mac ... it tastes exactly like the green apple flavor of a Jolly Rancher.  Yech!  There were others I loved however.

With Poland and the play we celebrated our union early.  This put right our visit right in the middle of peach season!  What a treat.  I love peaches.  Also lucky as the harsh winter destroyed 90% of the local crop.  The bucket of harvested goods was empty in three days.  Brock loves them too!

Peach picking is serious business.

First, a preliminary glance...

then a texture test...

and finally, an alternative perspective.

Yaaaayy!  Peaches!  Daddy!  Sky!!  WEEEEEEEE!

Sorry for the gif.  We took a series of mediocre shots that together are neato!

He has grown quite a bit since last year and now he can stand!  Still can't seem to manage the smile, however.

Upon our return to the vehicle we found a little visitor.  Comfortable with the transmission, I lamented not finding our adorable new chauffeur earlier to assist in the wine tastings the day before.

The next day we are off to the corn maze at Dinges farm where we also pick out exotic pumpkins for Halloween purposes. This year's maze theme was Safari.

Up to the cheat-look out.  We did not peek at the checkpoints!

And Huzzah!  We made it!

Ahhhhhhhhh!!!  Away from my baby, fiend!!

Dinges's petting zoo was not quite exemplary.  In their defense, they do not generally open till late September.

Corn tunnel "usie".

Children of the Corn!

This pumpkin is not lit with a candle, it is lit with pure adorableness!  A deeper burn most certainly.

I don't know if three months of squash puree qualifies one as an expert, Brock.

Just like the ball pit at Chucky Cheeses, only less rolly and more nutritious.

Annnnnd.... baby pumpkin wins again.

A great trip with my two favorite gentlemen.  Thank you my loves!
