Alice and the Doughnuts

Oh, hello again. I got great news. Today I found out that my grandma and grandpa doughnut aren't actually named "Doughnut". It turns out they just hand em out all the time. Alright, hold on. Lemme take another bite... ...mmmm. oh. so good and sweet. hold on, i need a bit more... what? you don't think i should be talking with my mouth full? HaHa! You're silly. Now bring me more doughnuts!!

Sharing Raspberries

 Hi. Alice here. Raspberries are one of my favorite fruits (except for the really tart ones, gross!) The only things I love more are my brother Brock and sharing.  Let's see if he likes em....  Yay! He does!!! Have another one Brock!   What a great family snack.

Brock is six

And now the other one is getting older on me as well!! Not too long ago he was Alice's pint size and now ... looks like we have a verifiable personality on our hands. A toast to Brock turning 6, the second youngest in his class, he was excited to catch up finally. To start the festivities, Matt has been working nights on this amazing many pointed origami star that Brock and him saw in a window that Matt promised to one day make for him. It turned out amazing and Brock loved it. Both Brock and Alice celebrated early birthdays with the G-mahas on a fabulous disc golf trip with them to Justin Trails the weekend of August 19th. They Brock got his dream gift of a small stuffed Lemmy, a bad-guy koopling from Super Mario Brothers. Brock has declared him his second best snuggly friend, easing past Mommy Murray and squeezing in just behind Murray Murray.  From us, Brock got a really fun circuit set that has sparked much joy.  I bet you are all jelly of this lamp, which r

Alice is one

Yes. The little one is big! Look at that luscious little salami loving lady! From 5.3 lbs to the 65% percentile in just 12 months! Well done Al Pal. I am in shock that only one year ago my ankles were as big as my thigh. Good times. I made what I felt was a very responsible choice, and got her glitter magnatiles for the big day so she would not have to steal Brock's (I'll say nothing about Brock stealing hers). And this annoying thing with three heads was Alice's choice. Twice in the toy store she reached for it and chortled away at its incessant chirping. And here is she is with Mr. Shape Sorting Snail. A delight from cousin Nate. Note that she has enjoyed all of her gifts! Except for whoever got her that vegetable, she does not like it. Now it's party time. As usual, I did not take pictures of all my very hard work. But thank goodness some of my friends did. Since Alice is a baby, her birthday was about us! So I picked a narwhal theme
