Alice toots to the tune of TWO!!

I saw this in my Blogger drafts and was like, omg what is wrong with us? Well, our beautiful creature is two now! We started it out the night before by smuggling in balloons to her room while she slept.

Oh the giftys were plentiful. And, I remember when we lived in that apartment! So August of 2020.

In the morning Alice rumbles with her brother in a crib of joy.

Brock made Merna (Myrna? Mirna? I don't know if we have official consensus on this) and all of us hats for the occasion.

Everyone is dressed up for the occasion.

Brock crowns the queen of the day.

and sports his own marvelous head adornment.

Merna cupcakes in blackberry and chocolate, which are her two current favorite flavors.

Mom and dad came down to the city to join the fun! We went out to get Alice's favorite, MEAT. BBQ at Smoke Daddy's and then cupcakes at home.

Here she is opening up the stack of goods before we head to the restaurant.

A Minnie Mouse vanity pack of dress up accessories, complete with high heels, from GDonuts.

And Grandma Donut cross stitched the most festive of stockings for Alice! Brock has one with a snowman; I can't wait to hang them up this year in front of the fireplace (we should be in the house by December)!

A special present from Mommy.

Golden slippers! Alice does have a shoe addiction.
(Daddy loves these too 😐 as they are so awesome for playing and stay on so well)

Party time

After dinner, we take mom and dad to the house to see the then recently cut hole in the middle.

Mom says, "you are not moving in by September". Too True!

Alice has a pants change post birthday BBQ poop-through. But still rocks the birthday girl smile!

What an amazing hole!

And later that night she opens a couple more...

Cali cousin crew get's one of Alice's fave, a woodpecker that eats worms.

She likes to say, "baby is hungry" while she shoves the worm in.

Other big hits are a necklace making kit from the quad M's, which Brock also has been enjoying. The GOmaha's bestowed an extremely awesome playground mini-doll set and a very similar set of dress up accessories as the GDonuts but became a victim of being opened second... Soo... because I had my eye on this little jewel from Target anyways, and it was also very dress-uppy, and so so so reminded us of Grandma Omaha, I made an exchange...

For this!!

I can hear the music playing now...
and yes, offering peanut butter is a superpower that I fully support.

And above she is proving her wonderness by helping me pack!

Happy birthday to seriously the most WONERFUL little girl. There is not a day, or minute, or second that I don't forget how LUCKY I am to have her in my life. I love you Alice! Go rock your new "two"!
