Easter 2021

It is snowing right now, but I tell you, spring is here, and with it the promise of rebirth and newness in the form of candy, eggs, bunnies and ribs!

The festivities begin the week before when we dye eggs. This is Alice's first real year to participate and I think she was quite delighted by it all. Brock is an old pro clearly.

She got really into the stickers and I got a bug kit that she loved as well.

Eggs in the makes.

Behold the fruit of our efforts! Matt always has a showstopper which was the dyed Murray. And the only part of that Murray that are stickers are the eyes. All else is dye! I am clearly impressed.

WHEEEEEAHHHHHH (that is a Murray sounding Eastery)

And now, an Easter Bunny marble machine that Brock and I devised. Ze (The Easter bunny would like to remain gender fluid) is CLEARLY holding its basket on the left there.

In action.

Easter morning and the hunt is on.

Easter Bunny made 10 clues for Alice, some got lost clearly. She was very confused in the beginning but caught on quick...

Brock had 13 that included math problems.....

And here is Brock getting to the glory at the end...

The Bunny is also a fan of our second fridge.

Brock enjoying the spoils

We have a mini Cadbury egg toast - different than cadbury egg on toastr

Alice online looking up Easter Bunny conspiracy theories

Alice got clothes for her baby including a bunny suit! Baby will have to grow into it.

This year's carrot cake. Bunny butts in dirt...so appetizing.

Alice chills in her Easter finery at the park. It was a beautiful spring day!

And for the Easter grand finally, Matt juggles bocci balls! Easter marks spring, and with spring, comes new hope for this year and getting back to normal! Too bad I'm writing this in August with my mask on. OH well, one day....xoxoxox
