The Fantastic 5 (Alice is!)

My amazing child creature named Alice has aged! And is a thing of beauty. She had the illustrious treat of her dear Auntie Joanne here (and uncle Jake and cousin Nate). So I threw in some of that magic...literally! First day of their visit and the day before Alice's birthday, we went to The Caldron, a place to make Harry Potter-esque potions and then drink them.

Here is Alice with her birthday brew. It turns you 5 years old (takes several hours to work).

Here is the last photo of Alice as a 4 yr old

The next morning is birthday time and we begin with gifts! A wand from Gdonuts!
Alice had eyed this light up bouquet at Medieval Times and I said "no, maybe for your birthday". Then one night I'm out with my girlfriends and someone approached us in a bar and tried to sell them to us. I said no. They said, you heartless cheapo, get them for your daughter. I did not, so they did. Weeee!

Hug shuttle gives, and gets, the best hugs!
CAKE. And allergies.
Allergic to fun? Five? Cake? Anyhow, lets see if sugar can help (distract).
Surprise!
Alice's birthday bash inside the emergency room. JUST KIDDING. Alice for her birthday wanted to stay in a hotel house. YAY. So we went to Milwaukee! Here we are at the Sprecher beer and soda tour.

Big pretzel? Small beer? You decide.
For dinner Alice requested fish meat. And fish meat was had.
The fish stood no chance. Time to wash it down with tomatoes.
And cake!
Being five is exhausting.

Brock and Alice took turns riding the Machine Shed tractor the next morning. That pig in the background thinks he's safe.
But he's not. Ah, nothing anoints a 5-year old birthday trip like a family pig pile. Happy aging to my littlest piggy! Love you so much Al!
