"Fall" in love 12er!

Another year of love in the Matt and Holly land. Complete with children, apples, fall and love! For this year, we booked too late (and were a coughing a bit for the splurge) for our beloved Goldberry Woods, so we ended up in Saugatuk this year, very close to where we go, the "Hamptons" of the Midwest.

Annual picking brought us to a new place that had only one kind of apple, but it was a new favorite! Firecracker apple!

the chosen one!!

No event is complete without a Murray and Myrna sighting.
Weather was worse this year! So for indoor stuff, we heading to the disco-golf for some spooky putts.

Free video games!
We made it to a small public beach to take in the wind, sand...and sink holes!

As I did a tiny bit of tourist shopping, Alice mastered the monkey rings.

Then to the worlds largest root beer barrel. I can't confirm, but I certainly can't deny.

Then on to one of our new favorites, Virtue Cider and farm. Alice was a basket case.
Just as it started to rain while we were wondering the grounds with our delicious cider, we were able to duck into one of their charming green houses complete with radio!

Games. Cider. Dry. And still mostly outside. Perfect.
And finally to Dinges for pumpkins and fall fun.
and zombie attacks.
Corn maze was REAL. Took us a long time to find "5".
And our annual ending to the trip, picking concord grapes, reminiscent of the grapes growing on our wedding day back a dozen years ago.

Brock and Matt roasted seeds from the source!

Ah Matt, these days are so much more than you and I now. But my heart is vast as this sunflower, and our seedlings are the most delicious, beautiful things in the world. Thank you thank you thank you for our wonderful year and years!
