Holiday 2023

I'm appalled at myself. The blog is simply wasting away! It's been true madness over here at the Cerney Casa this winter. Anyhow, this was Christmas...

On Christmas eve, continuing a tradition I had with my brother and grandma and grandpa, the kids get a shared Lego set to build and shave off some of the excitement jitters.
It was some beautiful bugs this year.

Christmas Eve dinner is Italian and Brock is having a red meat moment.

Good morning! Time for fun...
Matt is the yeast whisperer and has taken on donut duty, another tradition from my youth.

Time for the haul.

Aunt Joanne made Myrna a wardrobe! Here is her sleeping bag and eye mask...

The couch-walk is ready, time for a Myrna fashion show

Alice testing her new roller stakes. Chicago has no snow again.

The next day, as is also our ongoing event, we head to Omaha to holiday frolic with Gomahas and Seattle crew. I have so few pictures to capture the joy we have of this time with family during the holidays, but I don't want to wait any longer to post a post! Matt, if you have some more pictures, add away!

Panda love at awesome mini-golf course.

Brock scores big at Pizza Ranch. And shows amazing patience. He decided to keep his 700+ tickets till the next Omaha visit so he can get a lava lamp. Nice.

These are fireworks from New Years Eve outside the bedroom window. After battling sickness for over a month, I succumbed to a terrible case of strep and was in mute pain for most of the beginning of 2024. But fun was still enjoyed!
Don't worry, I got better, and I don't think anyone else even got it! A happy ending.

Sigh. Well, I put up a post! Better than nothing! Darn you wormhole of time!
