We also have an awesome son. I feel like Alice just got a bunch of blog-gage, so I wanted to remind everyone that I love Brock! I'm back at work now, and rehearsing many nights, and with Alice all the time, and I miss him. He has had some firsts as well. Here he is with a turtle. Now Brock can be quite tentative about some things. We have been going to the nature museum when the HERP society is there (acronym is something about reptiles) and all these enthusiasts bring their crawly critters to share. Brock has always been a "look but don't hold" kind of guy with them, but then, one day, he made the breach! And look at those cuties. So his first HERP society turtle snuggle. Brock also has had his first Sex Ed class. It went well and he was happy to explain what he learned about good touch/bad touch. In fact, Brock is pretty great about talking to us about school stuff. Because of his reports, I am becoming a source for other moms/dads for kindergarten gossip....

Hello. Alice reporting. I'm about to try out this thing called a "swing." Let's see what it's like... Oh boy, this is great! AAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

As observed in the last post, Alice is growing. She is now an avid tummy-er Oh goodness, the ever frightening "sleeps on tummy now"  She also eats solid foods as we mentioned: Strawberry beets as Matt said, but on a different day with more smiles and less agape. She also sits up, and sometimes even stays sitting up.  This was Brock and Alice parallel playing this morning.

We had to cut some holes in our ceiling to figure out where the joists were, and it was quite noisy. Alice was not moved. This is a good omen for the construction in our future...

We delighted in our annual celebration of the Christmas and the family fun with Gpa&Gma Cerney with the Knights to boot. Speaking of Knights, apparently they found them in the playground.   Nothing like a good old holiday ring toss... IN THE FACE!!  No, you are not seeing doubles! Two trees! Why the heck not. Max is not having it (just kidding, that thought Max was not documented as having, about the trees, or even anything, it just seemed to go with my tree comment that was meant to highlight the pair of tannenbaums and Max's amazing face that belongs on Home Alone 8's promotional poster. Apologies.)  Who's a baby in a Christmas tutu tutu? You are, yes you are, yes you are!  Not the family. Or the building. No no. Everything inside the store was $5. But wait. On Mondays, everthing is 2 for $5, on Tuesday, 3 for $5 and Thursday... you guessed it, but no, you probably didn't guess it, 10 for $5 . Oh it is a horder's p...
