Family O' Rama!!

Brock had the ultimate family extravaganza this weekend!  My aunt Sara-lu celebrated her 80th at my show, and the whole crew, Uncle Gene, Aunt Barb, Uncle Jerry, couz Carol and Greg and grandma and grandpa Thomas had a living room party!  Brock did pretty good, considering, but was a bit mom-clingy.

The Cerney boys!!

Yay, we remembered to take pictures.

Two pictures even!  Thank you Bob and Freda for love, laughs, delicious fishes, and good weather.

After a visit with the greatest of great grands, my mom and dad, Brock, Matt and I  took off for Indiana to visit my dear cuz Kristi who was visiting her mom and dad in Manchester.  We were 3 months apart when we were born, and our sons are 2 weeks apart!  Here she is with little Sam!

Brock is ever the stoic darling, Sammy a bevy of smiles.  Only in comparison in this photo do I get what people say when they say Brock is a big boy.

Manchester is where mom and dad met at Manchester college.  Mom grew up in the neighborhood, my dad went there because no other college would take him!  Dad's dad was superintendent of dad's high school, A church of the Brothern affiliate with Manchester College, pulled a few strings... thanks grandpa!  Mom and dad gave Matt the grand tour, with visits to Mom's childhood farm.  Now owned by the Amish, we saw a team of three horse pulled plows working the soil.  Dad gave us one too many details about all the places to "park" in the area.

Brock and Sammy started a band.  The got a drummer and singer and are looking for a few guitars.

Here is my lovely uncle Tom meeting the little guy.  Such a treat!

A fine dining experience with a distinguished pair of gentlemen.

Here we are enjoying the beautiful day on aunt Carol and Uncle John's lakeside lawn.

Home again... what a joyous weekend!
