Ceder Rapids Update

Matt and I did not coordinate post pics. I added a few just at the beginning ...

Matt went to great length to retrieve discs. This video went to great lengths to record them. You will get the idea in a few seconds likely.

... and back in to get Jim's disc. I think. This might be the first dive. It was long, I didn't re-watch. It was highly entertaining when when we were there.

Sunday best!

Bible Bible Bible! Brock wanted three Bibles, we stopped at two. He did pretty good at Kristine's wedding except for all the Bible requests. And making Matt draw pictures inappropriate for church on the donation envelopes. The Devil and pornography (Murray and a picture of a toot).

and... we are back where Matt started...

We spent mother's day in Cedar Rapids this year. Holly, Brock and I packed our gear into our brand new mazda 5,

is is a wagon? is it a minivan? no one knows, but we all fit!

and set off west, meeting the Cerney grandparents from Omaha. Much fun was had. We swam in the hotel pool, played a lovely round of disc golf (Brock walked a surprising amount of the course, then asked for a grandma-ride, much to grandma's delight), enjoyed a fantastic playground, and capped it all off with Kristine's lovely wedding. Sadly, we were having so much fun, we ended a little low on pictures. But we did get some....

Brock's favorite part of the playground was the giant fish-ladder. This is really more of a Holly butt-shot, but I assure you that Brock is in there somewhere, shimmying his way up the fish toward grandma. You can see his success at the top of the post.

"Fish Eyes!!!" Grandpa helps Brock grab some eye.

And lastly, a wonderful peek-a-boo moment with grandma in the woods while discing. We miss you grandma! Can't wait till the 4th.

UPDATE: We forgot to include this pic of our visit to Grammie and Grampie's final resting place. Wish they could have seen Brock playing, but they are in our hearts. (and their beautiful home is in loving hands)
