cali weekend congrats Den and Joanne!

We love a good wedding. Especially now that most of our friends are married off or singled off for good. Yay for love and Matt's uncle Den together with his lady, Joanne and yay for us to get a rollicking good time with the Cerney side of life in sunny southern California.

Alice and G.MaOh get reacquainted at a mini-reunion pool party at Den's twin, uncle Don's house.

She is cute-ing up real nice.

Aunty!!

Some Cerney ladies.

More Cerney ladies.

Pool time in ON.

More adorable on this later, Super Grandpa, as Bob is lovingly known as in our house, had a serious bonding weekend with miss Al. It is not hard to do mind you, get the googlies for the little gal.

And then the cannon ball contest. Brock is really quite graceful, but far from a ball.

Don kept egging Brock on and Brock took delight in not cannonballing when he was requested to. Or maybe this was just his best attempt, I'm not sure.

Max had bunny ears coming all day.

Perhaps the champion? Fear in the background is a sign of success.

Oh my goodness this was so sweet. I didn't even know we were on here until I saw this picture! I think we got eaten early on.

The couz's are really starting to have fun together. Even when they are each other's enemy.

Oh Max. He went there. All the way. Belly flopping upon request and taking some serious pride in his war wounds.

Oi, sporting some more battle scars, this time from a very excited dog who either thought he was a fish all of a sudden or who was trying to save Max from dry land.

No get together is complete without the delightful doom of stacker Uno.

With a little pre-wedding time to kill, we make a trip to Zoomars to visit the fabled guinea pig pen.

Nog on holiday, obviously, warming up for whatever adventure will be documented in a few months.

"Hey! What's a llama have to do to get a carrot around here! Darn pigs."

Jim did such a fabulous job toting around vegetable nibbles that the mayor of Zoomars gave him a key to the park.

Then we got all dressed up for the wedding. Alice sporting daddies favorite accessory.

Jim played bartender most of the night, and as you can see, there were many healthy options. I also slung some booze for a brief time and apparently I've lost my professional touch by all the mouth I got.

Alice inherited some of Madeline's hair accessories. I came very unprepared for this trip, and only brought 4 bobby pins and no hairspray, so I was grateful for the extra clips!

Oh I wish there was a prom balloon arch to be had for the next couple of shots. Holy crap you have a big mustache Matt, I never really noticed before.

More glamour and a rare shot of the elusive photographer.

I just don't think I can caption this picture accurately using the word "grandma". You're  a lucky man GpaOh!

Yes, the ladies look grand. I think this is somehow the only picture to be seen of Brock at the wedding. He must have had a great time. I know he was so rocked on Andies Mints and cookies that any photo of him taken would likely be blurry.

Oh goodness Super G. This is during the ceremony. Matt tried to take Alice back as she and he were not meant to get the best seats in the house, but apparently Super G had a case of sticky snuggle fingers, a rather contagious condition spreadable by boopers. I blame it on the bow, soooo cute, right Matt?

Matt awkwardly stands at attention next to the best man for the entrance of Joanne.

Matt's cousin Jessie performs the ceremony and talks a lot about wine. Perhaps I am more religious than I thought?

silliness ensues.

I think this picture from the hotel lobby sums up the day after such an awesome trip and night. Love you guys! Thanks for the weekend!
